11 Nov Nov. Fishing Reports Tampa
November fishing reports Tampa are very encouraging. On our charters we continue to have some very nice catch’s of Snook, Redfish and Trout.
Snook have been the hot topic for our charters. Catching fish in the mid 30″ range and weighing in around 12 pounds can be very exhilarating for the angler using light tackle. Redfish also known as Red drum have been caught in the 28″ range at around 8 pounds. These Bulldogs of the bay with put the angler and gear to the test. Trout have been fairly plentiful. Large numbers of them have been caught. Most in the 16 to 20 inch range and weighing in around 2 pounds. They make great table fare for the angler wanting some dinner.
All the fish we have been catching have come on live bait. Sardines free lined or cast out and slowly reeled back in has been the ticket to success. Tide also plays a major part in catching these species. Both incoming and out going tides have been producing.
Here are a few pictures from the beginning of Novembers fishing charters.
Its that time of year that not only are the fish on the move but so are the Manatee’s. We have been getting the occasional visit from these gentle creatures.
November is prime time to catch some nice fish. If you would like to book a fishing charter call or email and book your charter.
